About the Event

Celebrate Indigenous cultures and fishing history with us at Welcoming the Sun—a FREE, public event on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 12-4pm. The Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site, located in idyllic Steveston Village, will come alive in an uplifting celebration of Indigenous music, storytelling, shops, and more!
