About the Tours

Cannery Summer Experience Tours are back! Join daily guided tours led by our experienced costumed interpreters all summer until Sept 2, 2024. Our Cannery Summer Experience tours have something for everyone!

Learn about the history and resilience of the communities behind the canning line with Cannery People. For our historical technology lovers, join us for a Machine Demo and watch a restored 1930s – 1950s era canning line in action, or learn about the importance of herring on the West Coast and how it was processed by the machines in our reduction plant on the Herring Reduction tour.
