Free admission to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site - June 19 to September 7, 2026. No pass needed.
From June 19, 2026, to September 7, 2026 inclusive, the Government of Canada will be offering FREE admission to national parks, national historic sites, and national marine conservation areas administered by Parks Canada, as well as a 25% discount on camping fees. This initiative is part of the Canada Strong Pass, designed to encourage Canadians to explore the natural landscapes and cultural heritage of our country.

Admission to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site will be FREE from June 19 to September 7. Parks Canada will be offering free admission and 25% off camping fees at participating locations. No pass needed. Click here for more information.
Discovery Passes are usually valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Discovery Passes valid for June, July and August 2025 will be extended for an additional three months.
Explore the Cannery Gift Shop and buy from a curated collection of offerings and local products. The Gulf of Georgia Cannery Society is a registered charity which operates a national historic site and all proceeds help to support the operation of the museum, events, and programming for visitors of all ages.
