National Indigenous Peoples Day is celebrated annually on June 21 with the month of June recognized as Indigenous History Month. On this day, we recognize and commemorate the diverse cultures and achievements of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

About Indian Residential School Survivors Society
The IRSSS is a BC-based organization that started in 1994 to support Residential School Survivors to navigate the court system. Their work has expanded to provide essential services to survivors, their families, and those dealing with intergenerational traumas. In recent years, their work includes assisting the descendants of survivors and implementing community education measures (both Indigenous and non-Indigenous).
