About the Program
Understand how objects can help us tell stories in the Cannery REcollections! Objects are touchstones connecting us to people, places and moments in time. Each object we collect holds a wide range of stories and understandings that change and overlap based on who is looking at it. Together, these stories paint a picture of our diverse communities and their unique experiences.
This 60-minute add-on program explores the all-new feature exhibit Cannery REcollections: Redefining Storytelling through Objects through hands-on interaction, with a focus on seeing and hearing the community-curated stories of the local Steveston community.
Note: to book the program on its own, please submit a booking request for a 90-minute Discovery Tour and list REcollections in the comments field as the requested module.
