  • Flexible booking times are available upon request dependent on availability.
  • Each vehicle transporting students and parking at the Cannery parking lot will require a parking pass.
  • Students are welcome to eat lunch or snacks outside on the lawn in front of the Cannery building. In inclement weather, depending on program needs and other groups, we may be able to offer an indoor space. Is this something your group requires?
  • Additional information about your class helps us provide everyone with the best experience possible. If there is anything we can do to help prepare you, your students, and our staff and volunteers for your visit please let us know in the box below. This may include physical/sight/hearing or mental/emotional/behaviour needs, ELL/FLS details, or anything else that we can do to help your students have the best experience. If a conversation is a better way to convey this, please call 604-664-9261 or email education@gogcannery.org, to have a conversation or book a Teacher or EA familiarization tour.
  • If yes, we will have it available at the desk for pickup the day of your program.

The Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site stands at the mouth of the Fraser River; it is the ancestral, unceded territories of the Musqueam and Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ speaking peoples who have lived here since time immemorial. It is here that we are privileged to work, live and learn together.
