Admission to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site will be FREE from June 20 to September 2, Parks Canada will be offering free admission and 25% off camping fees at participating locations.

Due to the industrial nature of our site and in order to provide a quality visitor experience to large groups of visitors, organized groups of 10 or more people must pre-book a guided Cannery tour or program. Parking
The Cannery offers parking (paid) and bus drop-off. There is limited free street parking throughout Steveston village. Buses for groups booked in advance may receive a parking pass; please indicate upon booking that a pass will be required.
Photography
Photography with flash and video recording is permitted for personal use only, with hand-held equipment. If you would like to take photos or videos inside the museum for commercial purposes, please contact Visitor Services in advance.
Comfort
Due to our building’s unique placement over the water and historic architecture, it is colder inside the Cannery than it is outdoors; please dress appropriately.
Other
Food and drink are not permitted inside the museum.
Admissions are valid for the full day; visitors may exit and enter during same day open hours.
Pets are not permitted inside the museum except for certified guide and service dogs.

Accessibility
The site is fully wheelchair accessible. However, due to the historic construction of the building, the floor boards may be uneven in some areas. Please contact us for more information on-site accessibility by email or phone 604.664.9009.
