In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and reduce risks to employees and visitors, Parks Canada is implementing a temporary closure of all its visitor facilities across the country effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020. These closures will be in place until further notice.

As per the above announcement, the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site will be closed until further notice. The temporary closure will be re-evaluated on an on-going basis; we will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Youth 15 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note re: Gulf of Georgia Cannery NHS fee increase: On January 1, 2020, visitors will see a minor adjustment of 2.2% on many Parks Canada fees.
*Youth free for regular admission only. Special fees will apply for all enhanced services, including programs and events:
- School and Youth Group Programs ($7.40 per person, including tax)
- Special holiday events (Easter, Halloween)
- Group bookings/private guided tours
- Venue Rentals
- Birthday Parties
