Want to dazzle your friends with an amazing dessert or just looking for a nice place to nosh this weekend? With all the selection you can find, Steveston has any delicious treat your heart or stomach desires. For places to sit down and relax, The Adorabelle Tea Room and Gift Shop offers tea and lunch with an elegant flair in close to the centre of Steveston. There are tea sandwiches, sweets and pretty pink teapots for waiting for you in this cozy tea salon. The London Heritage Farm, although farther out from the center of Steveston, it offers a historical setting with tea on the weekends. Enjoy homemade scones, sweets and custom blend tea, and take in what life in the 1890’s was like at the farmhouse.
If afternoon tea isn’t your style, there are many other places to satisfy your sweet tooth. Indulge in the chocolate truffles at Sinfully the Best, or even take a class to learn how to make your own decadent chocolate creations. And venture just across the street to The Sweet Spot Bakery which has a wonderful selection of freshly baked pastries to try. And don’t miss The Candy Dish on Moncton Street for some good old fashioned fudge and nostalgic candy treats!
Looking for something particularly Canadian? The Gulf of Georgia Cannery gift shop has a delightful selection of maple flavored treats from addicting maple cream cookies to maple toffee and of course maple syrup. Whatever sugary sweet you crave, you can bet Steveston has it!
