Oral Histories

The annual Pull of the Net event, presented by the Gulf of Georgia Cannery Society, celebrates the multicultural communities who helped build Canada’s west coast fishing industry. The first celebration took place in 2017 during Canada 150, and marked the opening of our feature exhibit of the same name. For more information, please contact Event Coordinator Julia Sargeant by email or phone: 604.664.9261.

The Gulf of Georgia Cannery Society would like to thank Port of Vancouver for sponsoring this event.
