Instead of the usual Scrumptious Seafood recipe for this week, I thought the Seafood Summit 2011: Responsibility without Borders? in Vancouver would be a great food related event to promote. If you want to be on top of what’s happening with your seafood from the marine industry’s side, this event is for you! The Summit runs from January 31-Feb 2 at the Westin Bayshore Hotel and has optional workshops Jan. 29, 30, and Feb. 3.
The Seafood Summit brings together global representatives from the seafood industry and conservation community for in-depth discussions, presentations and networking with the goal of making the seafood marketplace environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.
