The False Creek Watershed Society has offered Vancouver City Hall a Salmon Flag to fly during the month of September. The statue of Captain George Vancouver points to its current location.
The False Creek Watershed Society, along with some Vancouver City councillors, and other salmon and watershed supporters will gather around the flagpole to read the Salmon Month Proclamation, hear some good words on salmon and rally around Sammy Sockeye as he flies the flag. Event takes place on Tuesday, September 21 at noon to 1:00p, on the north side of Vancouver City Hall (one block from Canada Line – Broadway).
