“The Whale” on National Canadian Film Day

The Cannery will be hosting a free screening of “The Whale” for National Canadian Film Day on Wednesday, April 18th at 7pm in the Boiler House Theatre.

National Canadian Film Day is one-day coast to coast celebration of our nation’s cinema.  “The Whale” is the tale of Luna, an lone, young orca who loses contact with his family on BC’s west coast, finds his way to Nootka Sound and befriends the people of the community.

The screening will be free of charge, but we encourage booking tickets in advance, to ensure a seat as capacity in the theatre is limited — click here to book your tickets.
