Join us for the first Cannery Farmers’ Market of the 2018-2019 season. Steveston’s winter market, featuring local artisanal products and makers, returns to the historic cannery for thirteen markets between October to April. Admission to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site is free on market days, with guided heritage tours available by donation.

New to the market this year is our partnership with the Richmond Food Security Society, who will be presenting their Food Skills Workshops (in the Boiler House Theatre) on select market days. On October 21 from 1pm, the RFSS presents: From Fin to Fork – Learn how to fillet and maximize every part of this amazing west coast resource. We will be making crackling, stock, and fish cakes – Yum!
