Cannery Farmers’ Market

Richmond Food Security Services Executive Director Ian Lai

Join us for the first market of 2019! Steveston’s winter market, featuring local artisanal products and makers, features locally-sourced handcrafted products inside a historic cannery setting.

Don’t miss a special cooking demo presented by the Richmond Food Security Society’s Paige Inglis, RFSS Education Program Coordinator at 1pm in the Boiler House Theatre.  This market’s topic is: A Week of Healthy Lunches/Snacks on a Budget.  The Winter blues give way to all things Spring so turn that frown upside down.  Join us and learn how to prepare healthy snacks that your children will eat without the pouty faces.  It doesn’t cost a lot to be creative.  Set aside an hour and plan the whole week out.  Nibble nibble…

Admission to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site is free on market days, with guided heritage tours available by donation.

February 3rd performers:
10am to 12noon Tuatara!

Check out the full vendor list and map at www.canneryfarmersmarket.org to find out who will be at this market.
